I was looking at a Sapphire Blue Viper in a dealership and small spiderweb streaks were in the clear coat finish. The same with the bronze Prowler next to it. I understand deep blue will be tuff to keep clean but can I get those little streaks out or is that just the way it is? Any Sapphire owners out there that cured this intial on perhaps on-going problem?

Most likely caused by junk/dirty towelling. If not too severe..a few coats of Zaino #5 will cover them up. If this does not work, you may want to move up to a 3M glaze. (Someone here will know the actual part number)

I agree with Ray - no special prep to my '01 blue RT10 and no streaks or spiderweb marks. I Use Z-5 and high quality towels for buffing, along with Z-6 to detail. I always check the finish over after returning from a trip and get any debris, bugs or dirt off before putting in the garage.....
