Can it tune a supercharger well enough or is it worth it to go ahead a buy a VECII or AEM?

1--AEM---Best Out
2--VEC 2--works great, but it ain't the AEM
3--Split Second--works well for SC setup.

AEM, won't pass emissions, and is $2500 +/-, w/o tuning, and only a few and the proud can tune it in properly right now.

VEC2, $1000+/-, many out there that can tune it quickly and inexpensive

Split Second, $??, tuning similiar to VEC2

Does anyone know if the Split Second can control spark, fuel injectors and fuel pump on timing simultaneously? The Paxton system comes with a Split Second pre-programmed for spark retard and fuel pump control.

Note also I think the VEC can advance spark where the Split Second can only retard the spark, and retards it across the board by 1.5 degree. If anyone knows how to defeat that please do tell.

split sec only tunes fuel and spark, by manipulating signal to fool computer. (like the vecI but much more flexible)

The split second only alters the Map sensor signal, There are two versions one that can retard timing (but it is not progressive) and one version that only alters the map sensor. They also have a TMC1 which is a progessive timing retard with remote dial. (does not advance-but progressivly retards timing under boost) Both versions have an output function to control up to 2 extra injectors. The VEC2 can also advance timing. New split second PSC1 is about $200, the TMC1 is about $350
