Well, my car is at RSI to get some mods, Paxton, Manley rods, JE pistons, 520 stroker, cnc ported heads, valves, lifters, Rockers, geared, exhaust system, Hi flow cats, Headers, flywheel, killer clutch, axles, NOS, aftercooled(NOS cooled...50 more ponies), timed NOS sytem and an oil/filter change.

We are expecting 900+ RWHP without any NOS.

I have the greatest of faith in Jason and Gerald, they did my SC NOS HiBoy Prowler and built the motor. 11's in the quarter.

Just thought I would share.

When done, please let the Motor Trend guys test something other than J H's work. I'd love to see 900rwhp without spray beat up, well, everything. Need stickier tires

Hey how much does this cost? I imagine if I have to ask I can not afford it. Are you changing the rear end gears?
Thanks,
Scott

Go to RSI and do the math, lol...... rather not say on the board. I am a repeat customer. :headbang:

We haven't got that far yet, if I didn't have NOS 3.23's with NOS stock, kinda still thinking about it.

They have a way of fitting a paxton on ther srt10 now. They told me last time they didn't think it would work because the crank pulley is so close to the steering rack

I heard that it could be done, but with a thin belt. That means low boost/ hp gains. That's why most srt 10 tuners are going with a twin turbo.

Your first post didn't mention the blower, and I thought it sounded just a touch optimistic ;) However, a supercharged stroker motor is a different story. I hope you hit your target!

There is some truth to the thinner belt deal, the belt on the blower will be 8 rib and the other will be six, stock is 7.

They (RSI) are making 900+ rwhp with a Gen 2, so we figure the SRT will do the same if not more, time will tell.

I guess this project is the first.

never the less

g o o d l u c k hope that your setup rocks, hopefully it will open the door for all the other tuners to get the idea to work up some power adders to the srt line of vipers.

So when your going 100 and smoking the tires... then you can spray it and spin 'em faster! That's going to be a crazy car... F' the warranty!

Do you do any kind racing?

Cool stuff, but worthless without a phat set of G rimz and some thuggin' pipe tips.

Make sure to practice the proper "Gangsta lean" before you cruize!

Seriously, neat mods. Looking forward to seeing some test results.

Looks like you will have a Sweet set-up. RSI is a first class operation and I have alot of respect for the car's they produce!

When you get it back we will have to hook up and play maybe tag team some Vettes!

i watched rsi bring a car out to the mile shootout in texas back at the end of october. i think it went 190 in the standing mile, then on his 2nd pass is went wham.....break. not sure what it had to done to it just know after the 1st pass it broke and they loaded it up. so i willing to bet when you spray that stroker motor while its running boost its gonna go wham.....break. nothing ***** more then listening to your money rattle around in the motor. id leave my spray at home until cars are wham...break proof. just my 02. i already made the mistake. just trying to save you some bling.

the biggest mistake i ever made was modding my gts. i have spent more money in mods then buying a new comp coupe, if i were you i would leave it stock and enjoy it. because i cannot explain how quick you are going to be in the middle of a nightmare. the badass factor does not outweigh the pain in the ass factor.

Bigbadcj, that was my RSI Viper at the mile shoot-out. I ran 190.1 in the standing mile with a 3.33 gear. I actually ran out of gear 300 ft from the finish line. On the second pass, my STOCK clutch started to slip in third/fourth, so I was done. Nothing went bam.. My car has a 510 pump fuel motor and it's the fastest all motor Viper period. 10.08@138.9/ 10.12@140.76 last week at the V10 Nationals. My car is a all motor car, no NOS or Blower. I have had no issues with my modified Vipers at all, love them all. I drive the RSI yellow GTS, stroked w/NOS, 9.45@152.. The guys at RSI do alot of track/street testing to make sure their cars stay together. If you go to the wrong tuner, then you might have some issues, but these guys know how build Vipers..

I do not abuse equipment(rental cars are for that).

The NOS is to make up for the weakness of the Paxton and will be armed and ready when needed(not high RPMs).

Anyways, thanks for coming forward SW.

SW, up ran out of gear in 6th or 5th after the finishline?

And where do they have these mile runs?

Thanks again

No worries Gary
