Spring Has Sprung!

Officially, Spring has begun in southwest central Ohio at 1:00 PM. Spring Mountain, formerly an almost 9 foot tall hand shovelled pile of snow from my driveway that had melted down to less than 3 feet high one month after the Presidential Day Weekend massive snows, was less than 6 inches tall this morning. At 1:00 PM EST it had completely melted signalling the Official start of Spring.

Astronomically, Spring begins for the rest of Planet Earth at 8:01 PM EST.

I believe that I heard on the news yesterday that Spring officially starts in CA at 5:00 PM.
