You heard right! They’re finally ready!!! Last week I installed the first-in-existence one-inch-down, forward-and-aft-adjustable seat lowering assembly for the SRT-10. Installation took me about two hours, but if I had to do it again, I could do it in half an hour. My positioning in the car is much improved now that I’m finally looking though the center of the windshield (not to mention the increased psychological security of getting another inch below the roll bars). And the biggest surprise of all? I no longer need the sun visor for wind shielding purposes when the top is down since my head is now below all the air turbulence, and, get this, for the first time ever, I can actually use the sun visor as a sun visor since I’m now low enough in the car to see below the sun visor when it's down. Imagine that, hehe, an $85K car with a functioning sun visor. Fact is stranger than fiction.
Now I just need a lowering assemble for my poor passenger too. Oh, I'm a mere 5'9".
Many thanks to both JonB at PartsRack and Mike at Northwind Engineering for making this possible. Very nice work!
