The GTS looks slicker, like flowing water, while the SRT more aggressive. I don't like where the gas cap is on the SRT. Overall, both great-looking cars!

I didn't realize how similar they looked! the SRT just looks like a more refined version of the GTS. Well i guess that was their goal. SRT-C all the way....

Very **** pics!! I never really saw the similarities between the GTS and the SRT-C either. You can definately see that in these pics

Love them both!

This isn't good guys. You are making me like the SRT-10 coupes too much. You are horrible influences. Now I have to bust my ass to get one!!!! ;) :usa: :headbang:

I didn't realize that they had so many similarities - especially from the front top view. But in profile, it's all GTS for me. No contest ...

From the front the SRT looks a little bit more refined and muscular. The same can be said about the back. However where the GTS really shines is in the side profile! The flowing curve of the hood and then the flow of the door into the fender opening is amazing. The SRT fender and door have zero flow and actually they are almost at odds with one another. The side mirrors on the SRT do not seem to match the bodylines either.

With all that said I really like the look of the new coupe. I just think it is very hard to improve upon the side profile of original. Thanks for the pics! :2tu:

Its really evident they heavily borrowed styling cues and lines from the GTS. The Gen3 coupe has much more Gen2 influence than the SRT10 vert does. Look at the dangerously **** swooping rear fender bulges, curvaceous roof line, and duck bill spoiler. The SRT coupe is like an "edgy" GTS. And the new coupe is, by far, more sensuous than the SRT10 vert. This sexiness is due to a shot in the arm of DNA from the GTS.

I think all the criticism the SRT 10 vert received from Gen1+2 owners really hit home, (no need to recap, we all remember), so when they designed the new coupe, they dug deep into the emotional well of the GTS.

Otherwise, why would it have so much GTS influence? Its obvious they were trying to recapture the emotional whallop and appeal of the GTS.

As far as the GTS being "dated", thats entirely true. In fact, it was "dated" when it first came out in 1996, since it borrows so much from the Ferrari 250 GTO, and Daytona Coupe, designs that predate the GTS by about 30 years.

Whats old is new again. And I think they all rock. Good job, SRT!

even though i own a new 06 coupe. i have to say that i like the gts better as for looks. that side shot says it all. the the other poster mentioned the way it all flows together. the new coupe looks more pieced together. and the gass cap for sure looks way better on the gts. all though i love my new srtc. you could never mistake a gts from another car on the road. even from 100 yards away you know its a viper.

I realize that things have to change, but if Dodge could just bring back that front fender swoop of the GTS and move that gas cap, I might be inclined to buy a new one as well.

The more I see these pics together, the more the new model grows on me. But I don't think I will ever see a car as **** as the original GTS rides.
