A really neat idea indeed. Another cool idea would be something like a Ferrari F50 - it can be both a Roadster and a hardtop with the rear end of a Coupe

Thanks for doing the great PS work. I now know why I don't like the coupe's rear. Looks like a vert crashed into a coupe and went all the way in, leaving only the vert's rear end/bumper flush with the back of the coupe. Also, don't like the extension of the horizontal spoiler's lip line down along the rear fender sides. Makes it way too busy. All in all, a very interesting exercise.

yes, this was also my experience. The coupe rear is to disturbed, to chiseled, and it definitely not match with the smooth front.
