SRT-10 Corsa exhaust dyno numbers??

So I was wondering what kind of numbers I should expect with nothing more than a full corsa exhaust on the car. I am taking mine to the dyno sometime next week and wanted to get an idea on what it should make.

It should be 435-445rwhp stock. I'm not sure the exhaust system picks up much at all

ah okay thanks! I am also trying to figure out the best bolt ons for the car. I think I read that the K&N filter kit adds like 15 rwhp and tq?

Personally, I would add the K&N, and then start saving for something else. Twister's thread on the Roe Racing 710 cam should be something to notice too, for about the same price as just headers!

Little to no gain with exhaust only. Stock cars will dyno as listed above on a Dynojet. Any other dyno and it'll vary up to 10% just on dyno operator variables.

Hi,

I have dyno numbers for my SRT 2006 convertible (dyno in november 2011 in France near Paris). I only have Corsa exhaust.

Results : 650 NM at 2500 RPM, max 705 NM at 4150 RPM and max power 481,8 cv at 5300 RPM

Not sure how I missed your original thread, but this is great info. If only there were more diligent posts like this. Most threads only show results after a combination of items have been added. It's difficult to discern what items provided the best gains, and what if/any could have been left off the build list.

You wouldn't happen to have any results on what a set of headers will gain, particularly if added to a set of ported heads and a cam?

The head motor man him self told me the design of the stock air filter is so good that if you removed the filter it would not change the HP. So how does a K&N help.

The head motor man was either mistaken or the stock air filters only perform when brand new. My results are unbiased, I neither sell parts or labor and operate my own dyno, which is a standard DynoJet 224. I'm a test development engineer by day, so believe me when I say I try to do things as controlled as possible within reason.

Edit: Another obvious possibility is the intake tube nets a larger gain, not the filters. both were replaced in my case, as they are sold as a package.
