We have tuned some of our SRT 10 packages and the results have been consistent. On stock and modified engines the base calibration on the SRT 10
is on the rich side. Tuning the air fuel for about 12 to 1 picks up about 12-15rwhp from 2500rpm up. If you are trying to get that extra little bit out of a SRT 10 package a little air fuel tuning will get you there. For best results
always take your readings from before the catalyst, this will give you a true air fuel reading.

Dan,

Hey this Mark from Vegas (mark777). I was talking with you about the Vegas Dodge dealership that may have someone that you might recommend to install the "heat reduction" products that you have and possibly tune the engine per your findings in this post...???

Thanks.

Excellent Dan. That is good to know, thanks for sharing that - hope a few more customers take you up on your offer to reset the calibration.

It is a good idea as running too rich serves no useful purpose.

Hi Mark,
We do not as yet have a insulation package that will fit the Corsa Exhaust you want to run. I will let you know when we have something. For a tech in Las Vegas give Steve Waldmen a call, he has a dealer tech that does great work.
His number is 702-451-1513.

Dan,
This too was a problem on my car and according to DC their range was quite high with the fuel side being rich. Mine was 13:1. Their range was plus or minus 5 psi and 55 being the bench mark. Seeing that some cars could be at 60 and others at 50 there would be about a 20% difference which probably resulted in my car showing some lower dyno numbers than expected. Heffner found my car to be very rich and the resulting correction also helped the hp as your findings have proved.

Dan,

Thanks for the contact although I have no current plans on addind the Corsa exhaust at this time (Actually, I'm quite happy with the current sound level which is pretty quiet for such a Beast!).

Do you think that Steve Waldman is well suited to install the thermal package and do things like the tuning you mention in this post?

Thanks in advance.

Dan,

Thanks, I will talk with Steve. If he can't do everything for me, I will consider pulling it with my Truck down to your shop (how much would you charge each way to ship?).

Thanks,

Mark

Mark- I know one of the Viper techs here in town if you want to talk to one. If you want to wrench or install bolt ons, I have plenty of tools and room in my garage.

Sam,

Thanks for the offer. Unfortunately I am ******* with so many things these days I don't have the time to spend working on the Viper myself but was looking for a qualified person to help me out. I wanted to add the thermal shields that Dan has available and other bolt-ons...

I would appreciate your offer to speak to the Viper Tech you know of here in town. I'm out of town at the moment but will be back next week and would like to plan out these mods.

Thanks again.

Mark
