Who sells the nicest floor mats for the SRT? What about a trunk mat - does it need one? Is there a car cover available? Would appreciate your help, also who has the best deals on the above items?

Based on the pictures that I have seen posted on here, a trunk mat does wonders. Y2K3SRT has posted some pics showing before and after. However, I don't know the name of the thread containing said pics. It was quite awhile back. Ask him. I'm sure he would not mind posting the pics again, then you can see for yourself.

The NorCal region sells both. I'd vote for their floor mats....

NorCal SRT mats

The flat rear trunk SRT mat is great, but the Mopar trunk kit is a very nice molded set, the SRT's at VOI had them installed, covers the entire trunk, not just the flat area... really should come with the car. Here is a link to the trunk kit at Woodhouse:

Yes, the Mopar trunk kit! That's the one Y2K3SRT has before and after shots of. It makes the trunk look complete. Without it though, the trunk definitely looks like it's missing refinement.

Definitely go with the Mopar trunk mat set. I got mine at Woodhouse Dodge . Before and after shots:

Now, as far as the floor mats go, I am afraid I am not so thrilled with the Mopar mats. Price was right (again, Woodhouse Dodge with a VCA member discount), but the quality is fair at best. Even with the two "snaps" on the driver's mat, they come loose and slide up under the pedals. The passenger side almost ends up in the glove box after a few different people have entered and exited.

I am now pinching my pennies and hope to be able to buy the Northern California VCA mats ASAP. I had them in my GTS and they were AWESOME. I have no doubt that the ones now available for the SRT will be every bit as good!

Is the size of the SRT mats significantly different from that of the RT/10? I have a great set of Snake-Oyl mats that I would use in the SRT. Will they fit?

Thanks for the pictures, the trunk liner looks great. I was looking at the mats the California club sells and think I will order theirs as I am sure they put out a first class product - nothing less from Maurice!

By the way, you would think for the price of the car Dodoge would include the trunk mat and floor mats. The trunk looks awful without the mat. I guess they thought they would shave an extra 3 pounds off the car...

Has anyone puchased Mopars Front End Cover for the SRT? It looks pretty good on page 4 of the SRT brochure "The Official Story". Costs $148 on Dodges website.

And how about a car cover. I have heard that the Mopar offering is not like the GTS/RT cover that used Evolution 4 material, but that it uses a much thinner material. Not sure but I want a cover both for dirt/water (more for the dust aspect) and protection from contact related damage.. The Evolution 4 material was great for both.

My opinion on the Northern CA VCA mats was not positive. I had them in my '94 RT. They looked great at first, but wore VERY quickly and were mashed down after an hours drive...and would not vacuum back up. (And frankly, I thought the big logos were a bit much.) In my GTS I use the factory mats with the anchors and they do not move around. They also wore much better. In fact, my 2000 GTS had my '96 GTS mats for the first year!
