ABS, and will work with non ABS. and 18" wheels. On Non ABS cars, you move the Gen2 fronts to the rear, and a pro valve for balance. This also keeps the cost way down. :D

Re: SRT/Comp Cpe 14

Is there a drilled 14" rotor one could substitute for the posers among us? :)

RedGTS,
right now there isn't BUT, my cnc place does the rotors with dimples and slots, so the stock rotors can be made to look   :2tu:

cross drilled rotors are for show only, IMO :D
Hope this helps( I pretty sure the comp cpe rotors are the same offsets, will know shortly)

Re: SRT/Comp Cpe 14

Dave,

Do you have any performance numbers of this setup compared to the stock 2001 ABS cars and compared to a stop tech equipped car? Either numbers or seat of the pants feel.
It's cool that you can retrofit the newer brakes but at the end of the day, they need to stop better than stock and compete with Stoptech to be more than a novelty.

Re: SRT/Comp Cpe 14

Mit,
Mostly seat of the pants feel, but the pads are 18% bigger, and 14" rotors instead of 13", plus these are the same calipers used on the SRT's and comp cpe's. Also everyone loves the SRT brakes, Gen2 cars **** :(

Dodge did all the work  , I just made them fit. :usa: Plus the cost  if you like paying "Viper Tax", then brand X is the choice.

That's why I did this in the first place, best quality, and the lowest price, plus I built this kit for me :2tu: :usa:

Oh  The BEST part is, they are GREAT POSERS :D :2tu:

Well, in that case, what does your seat of the pants feeling tell you? Does it stock noticeably better than stock? Is there less fade?

Re: SRT/Comp Cpe 14

Mit,
A whole lot better than the stockers :2tu: , before, I never felt like I could stop :(
Now I KNOW I can stop :2tu: It's great having REAL brakes.
Testing was done on a high speed 9 turn road course, in 90' heat with NO brake fade :2tu: I ran 100 laps at Willow Springs doing high speed stops, lap after lap (see my many pic's at the track).

Hope this answers your questions.
Thanks Dave

For non ABS cars with 18" wheels, a custom master clyinder kit is in the process, which will include new brakes lines from M/C to distribution block(which will be replaced by a combo pro/valve&Tee kit), and all will be a real bolt on  )

So far I see no difference, as the bore and stroke per the shop manual is the same. Only diff is res is larger.

Parking brake caliper kits will be done this week :2tu:
The puzzle is almost 1000% done.

Re: SRT/Comp Cpe 14

Another piece of the puzzle finished, my new ABS master cylinder, and proportional valve kit.
This kit allows full control over the rears brakes when using my SRT/Gen2 Big Brake Kit(non ABS 18" wheels), and for those non ABS setups( like Tom's 40MM rear brake upgrade). It allows for min to max ajustments, using a knob on the valve to adjust the press.

Kit can be found under New Products and Supplier Specials.

Thanks
