I hope they focus more on the Viper looking more wild/menacing /exotic, then save weight, then add power

I heard that it will be 700 crank hp with a paxton blower as an factory option.

Although looks are important to just about everyone buying a sportscar, I think Dodge has got to kick up the performance NOW to keep the Viper alive. Recent posts on the surplus of Vipers seems right on the money.
I personally care more about the Viper's performance and rarity than about the looks. I also hope Dodge makes the rumored "Copperhead" Orange a good color. A color that should definitely be repeated is the beautiful Candy Blue used on the GTS with white stripes! An equivalent "Candy Apple Red" would be a real winner; don't you think? The previously offered "Connally" (spelling?) Brown leather looked Orange and terrible! Sorry PVO/SRT, but who OK'd that Connolly color? I had hoped it would look like a wonderfully aged leather chair, or like a broken-in Baseball glove. No offense to the folks who have the Connolly! Back then in 97-98 and until 2004 we had to order our Vipers, and unfortunately we were not given much of a picture of what that option looked like.
Be careful wishing for looks over performance; Otherwise we might have a late 70's Firebird on our hands with a big cheesy "Thunder Chicken" (or snake) Decal on the hood!
SRT, you must keep ahead of the competition. Give us options and more Metallic colors. Show us detailed photos. Make us ORDER the Viper. A hand built car that used to take six months to get should have options.

i will take looks over horsepower anyday. anybody can make a honda civic or a station wagon haul ***. but at the end of the day it still looks like crap. so when the new butchered up viper srt coupe comes out lookin all riced up all i have to do is just mod my gen 2 coupe a little bit and i will blow that riced up bling bling off the road with better looks and more power.

I agree. Right now it's almost as boring looking as a Mustang. It's gotta get that menace that makes you smile on a bad day.I hope they focus more on the Viper looking more wild/menacing /exotic, then save weight, then add power
