SRT Invoice Pricing

I am lookin at a new 04 Black SRT at a local dealer. The sticker on the car is $85k. I read on Edumunds.com that the invoice is $73.875k.

Is this true? Do you think that the car can be had for closer to this supposed invoice price?

I have been calling around on a Mamba and have got some down to under 82000, 82000, 82999, and 8400 with 7/70, keep hunting,,,,,sticker is 87295 on the Mamba -2500 for option

I got a brand new 03 SRT-10 back in Nov. for $74,500. The car had been sitting at the dealership for over 2 months and had only 8 miles on it. I offered cash and they took it.

Great deal, though offering cash had nothing to do with it. It's not like it is a hassle for 'em to deal with your financing or to arrange it themselves. In fact, if they help you get it, they make money off that deal. So they like to handle it that way.

The dealer I've been talking with will sell a new SRT-10 for $77,500 (includes gas guzzler and destination). As to a cash sale, this dealer has been selling Vipers since day one...locally, across the states, and overseas. In all those years, he has had only ONE Viper financed...all the rest were CASH deals. He just thought that was the typical Viper buyer. And "Phoenix SRT" above is correct. The dealer makes bucks on the back end if they effect financing.

Just for your info, I bought a Ram SRT 10 from Dave smith motors in Idaho and paid 217.50 over invoice. These trucks are harder to get than vipers right now. It took a couple months to get the truck. I dealt with a salesman Brett Jones. He was a great guy & theres no B/S to put up with because they sell every vehicle at 217.50 over invoice, even Vipers!!! They have 16 Vipers in stock when I talked to him friday. He took great care of me so I told him I would give him a plug on this website. I am in no way affiliated with this guy, just passing on my great experience. There # is 1-800-635-8000 and they are located in Kellogg Idaho, which is in the middle of nowhere!
