Will I get or notice braking power from this small upgrade?

I have ebc greens on my car now and when I took it to the track last time, I had a hell of a time trying to get my car to slow down...is it the brake pads or is it the lines and the stock calipers I am using?

In order to stop, I had to downshift my car plus braking....

Well, I've got both the larger calipers in rear as well as the stainless lines, and I can tell you (I did them on separate occasions) each upgrade helped; SS lines sealed the deal. I never lock up a front anymore because of the increased feel. First upgrade you should do: rear calipers.

Just to clarify. The rear caliper upgrade does not work with a 2001 GTS, right?

I will need new rotors next time I need pads which won't be too long. I am just going to get it done once and for all at that time and get the Stoptech 4 wheel kit.

Is there a more cost effective solution for a 2001? I do think the stock brakes **** even on the street.

Your EBC Greens are great for the street, but not good enough for the track.

Hisserman is right.
I recommend having a set of pads AND rotors to change back and forth for track and street. What I have found is the material from one pad sticks to the material left behind from the other and you get a bump feeling in the peddle.

SS brake lines a must; especially if you do any track days.
How do they feel? just step on the floor and push hard - the floor does not move - neither does the pedal.
