Stock \'96 GTS Dyno Run
I just did my first dyno run on my '96 GTS with K&N and stock airbox, at R&D in Carson (CA). The nimbers that I got with fans running were 388 RWHP and 440 torque. This seems a bit low, did I (or R&D) do something wrong?
When I had my heads off for warranty work, I had them do a 3 angled valve job, and ported and polished the bowls (which is as far as they will let us go without voiding the warranty). I expected that I would get bit better than stock (based on Dan Cragin's recommendations). It looks like I might have wasted my money.
Can anyone shed some light on this? By the way, my first run was the best and the two others were at 380HP/432 torque and 384/437.
Thanks in advance for your feedback.
