Stock rear diffuser colors?

Just scored a beauty of a racing yellow car with factory black Viper graphic front hood (not stripe), and the rear diffuser of the car is also black. Does anyone know if this was a factory option/request? I have not seen a two tone rear unless it has the stripe going down the back and this is not a stripe, just black rear diffuser.

Have you got pictures? I'm mostly just curious what all you mean, though I have an idea in my head. Kind of almost sounds like a VOI edition car or something.

That looks like a VCA edition car, though it's missing some of the extra graphics that go with it. There should have been a logo on the rocker just behind the front tire as well.

Yes, similar, but my hood design is different... pinstriped surround and Viper head at the top.

Funny, I asked the same exact question in the facebook group! General consensus is..well..didn't really come to a general consensus. Someone said "
Solid color coupes were body color, striped coupes were black from factory.
I believe (at least for the most part) the same applies to the convertibles."

I've never seen a hood graphic like that before on a stock car, but I'm constantly learning new stuff about these cars, so it's entirely possible. Have you got any more info on the car like year or VIN? I was looking at the Viper registry to see if there was any mention of that as an option, but I'm not coming up with much. They do have the VINs listed for the VCA cars though, so it could be someone started with one and slightly modified it, but that seems like more work than just starting fresh.
