Thinking of changing wheels and tires and was wondering if there is a market
for my stock ones, they have about 600 miles. Any of you had any luck selling
your's? And did you get a good price?

Thanks,

Good luck, it seems that there has been a decrease in the popularity of all stock SRT 10 wheels. People are starting to learn that they are extremely heavy and easy to curb. Hopefully you can find someone to sell them to...However, if you will be in the market for a new viper within the next few years when DC decides to up the horsepower, i would recommend you buy a new set of wheels but keep your stockers. This way, when you sell the car, you can stick the stockers back on the vehicle and transfer your new wheels to your new car. This way, you wont lose any money on the trade in or sale of a vehicle that has a set of expensive wheels.
my 2 cents.

I sold mine in like 2 days. I don't think you will have a problem but its like anything else, the price has to be right.

Be very carefull if you list your wheels and tires for sale in the VCA classifieds.
I also have a set of SRT-10 wheels and tires for sale. I have received responses from more scammers that I could possably list here.
The typical repsonse is that the buyer will send you a cashiers check that will cover the parts plus shipping. They want the parts shipped immediately. Of course the check is fake.
Only accept a wire transfer for payment.

Ps Be very cautious if you get a e-mail promising you a immediate hassle free sale. The buyer was very convincing untill the hassle free sale turned into me sending the wheels and tires, paying for the shipping up front then waiting to get paid.

I took my wheels into a tuner and bartered for a few more mods. A tuner working with dozens of clients can always sell them easier then you can. If you have one close by it might make sense to see them.

I doubt you'll have trouble selling them if the price is right. Check with the dealer to get the list price, but be sure you are sitting down.

I was thinking about getting a set for my 96 GTS. What is a fair price? It's a toss-up between the Gen 3 rims and a set of 18" VR-1 Forgelines. I may spend a little more and go with the Forgelines becauce of weight unless I get a smokin' deal.

The Gen 3 wheels are really growing on me, but if I'm going to spend that much, I'd probably spend a little more and go with the Forgelines (for weight). I love the pictures, that's the look I want but I'm torn between the two.

I have a perfect set of 2004 SRT-10 wheels and tires with about 1k miles on them. They also have the low tire pressure sensors installed.
$3800.00 plus shipping.
