Anyone ever put the 96 RT/10 style stripes on a yellow RT/10? Are there pictures of such a thing?

I was just sitting around day dreaming about my car and thought that might look kind of cool. The obvious color choice for stripes is black I think because I'm not sure any other color would look that great. But maybe I'm wrong.

Those silver stripes look pretty cool, I've never seen that before.

Bump...

No one has any pics of any yellow RT/10's with the 96 style thin stripes?

I would like to see them also. Something I saw somewhere was a yellow Viper with white stripes. I am trying to find that picture too.

Tony that is a great looking car. I think I remember seeing that thread when you first posted it.

I've only brought up the 96 style stripes b/c I don't really like the look of the full stripes on the gen 1 hood, I think it looks better on the gen 2 hood. But then I thought maybe if I did the 96 stripes in black it would look sharp.

So far no luck at finding any pictures though. I may have to see if I can get a photoshop version put together.

If I had a GenI I would definitely put the 96 style stripes on it.

Do you think you can buy them pre-cut with the curve at the end? I may have to look into this further, the more I think about it the more I like it.

I don't know about pre-cut kits. There was someone here on the forum pitching pre-cut vinyl stripes but after numerous attemtps to contact them I abandoned them. I can't even remember their name. Try searching for stripe kits.

I'd definitely put them on the GenI...if you can get measurements/pattern drawn then take it to a quality sign shop, stripe installer, etc and they should be able to cut the pattern in vinyl for you.

yes if you go to galleries 1995rt10 you can check them out i wish i knew how to post them on a thread

There's a sticky somewhere on posting pics I think. But all you need is the direct link to the picture, copy that link. Then go to the advanced reply screen. There is a little box that looks like a mountain with a yellow sky, click that. Post the link in the pop up box, then press ok. When you preview the post you should see the picture. That picture button just puts

i have the pics on my comp but how do i get links asighned to the pic ???

You get it from the website that is hosting the pics. When you go to your gallery here there is a line under the picture that has the picture's direct link. Just copy and paste that into your reply and you should see the picture. (in the case of the pics in your gallery here it already has the tags around it so you can just copy and paste, which is what I did to get this pic)

Or you can also use sites like photobucket and they will have a line under the picture for a direct link to post in forums as well.
