I just got the Viper back from the paint shop where they painted on some Stone White stripes. Enjoy!

Looks Great! Is it just me or does it look like there is a discrepancy of the stripes around the front of the NACA duct?

Did you paint behind the plate on the back? It doesn't look like it.

Right, doesn't look like it from this pic. Stripes through the plate area look even better IMO.

Wow, looks great. I've been thinking of doing the same with my 98 GTS. Looks like you removed the fog light covers??? 98 had them 99 didn't? Funny some like stripes through plate IMO better without them. LOL. Did you have them re clear all of the car? Looks like it and a good job.

Just proves that a GTS needs stripes. Good job.

I agree with that. I'm one of the few non GTS fans but if I ever purchased one
it would have stripe's. :2tu:

REALLY MADE YOUR CAR LOOK 100% BETTER.

Looks great. Can you tell me if you painted over the clear or had it sanded first? My plan is to go bumblebee, can you tell me how much it cost?

I have a 12x12 shed out back I put all that junk in. I just had them clear over the stripes only, no need to do the entire car, the rest of the paint is in great shape. I got a great deal on my stripes, a good friends father did them for me. My girlfriend took the Z06 out to work thats why its not in the pics.

I had them take out the fog light covers and fill in the holes when I had the front bumper repainted a few weeks ago. I like the look better without. I did not have them paint the license plate area, I did the same look as a 2002 FE.

The car looks like it was just rolled out of the factory right into your Garage! Great job on the stripes!

So they only cleared up to the edge of the stripe and you can feel the edge where the stripe begins and ends? How much more would they have wanted to clear the entire car. I suspect it gets a lot more involved and you have to take it apart for this?

Even if they cleared the entire car you would still feel an edge, it would be smooth but you would feel it. The cost would be very expensive as it is like repainting the entire car. I have not measured but i am sure the edge is only a couple mm thick.
