I saw these pics of a 93 red and white but I don't know if they are painted or vinyl.

Juli, I think you live so far north of us that there's no temperature up there, it always seems to be zero degrees. Since we're closer to the shoreline the temps seem to hover around freezing but do dip down in the teens on occassion. Our low's here have been 18 degrees or so in the evenings. Looks like 40's the next several days. The Viper has been sitting in the garage since October and the last time I drove it was to Chuck's tech session. I can't believe it's been that long. I just got my headers back from Belanger (that's another story) this morning and I will get the Viper out next week for sure. It's due for an emission's test.

Agreed. But this wind that howls 5 days a week *****!

It's ALWAYS windy here...wind chills always very low...but nice in summertime. Whassa matter, the SAND blows up in the Viper when you drive???? :eater: ~juli
Tony: Well, we're not THAT far north, LOL!!! But, yes, it's been an unusually colder winter for us. We did have the cars out a couple times in November after Chuck's Tech Session (that was great to see you there!!!)...hope you have good weather for the emissions testing :)crazy2:)...juli

I'd have to go on a shooting rampage. Unload a few clips at a Kia showroom or something!

Let us know how the Belanger parts work out. Still sitting on my stuff for the side exhaust conversion. Waiting on some crappy weather.

Have we hijacked another thread?

Just posted updated info about my header leak here: http://forums.viperclub.org/rt-10-gts-discussions/610469-belanger-leak-gaskets.html. It was a self-inflicted wound.

For reference, I'm using Avery A9 cast vinyl for my stripes. I have a 150' roll and only need about 30'. Look for some left-over vinyl soon in the classifieds.

Those are probably paint. Would be too difficult to run vinyl through the NACA duct on the hood and license plate on the rear.

A good vinyl installer could do it. My NACA looks great in vinyl, and the license plate area would be easier than the NACA. But, stock stripes do not go through the license plate area.

Tony, just curious. How thick is the Avery? The shop that did mine used 2 mil.

Same here, it's 2mil. I have a roll of the A4 4mil and while its thicker it looks like crap. The thickness didn't bother me but the texture of the vinyl was awful. It looked like a roll of orange peel. There's definitely a difference in texture/finish/quality between calendered 4mil vs. cast 2mil premium vinyl. I checked with a few installers and they all used 2mil be it 3M, Avery or Oracal. The only downside I got from them is that in order to remove the 2mil will require a heat gun, elbow grease and time.
