Sold $84,000 plus buyer fee, = $94,400. net to the buyer $84,000 less 8% consignor fee, = $77,280

Got hosed, but not as badly as the SRT Demon right before...brand new with 6 miles went for something like $60K. Ouch.

This would be a great opportunity and a good time in your life to say,

Can’t help but laugh hysterically at this clowns years of trying to sell his car at a ridiculous inflated price only to be totally boned finally by the real world. Congrats on losing 50% of the purchase price in three years while never driving it to keep the mileage down for the big “payday”. Mind if I PM you for some investment advice?

Would you all please shut up? We are nothing more than dumb trailer trash, trolling around on a car we are all uninterested in, and commenting unnecessary on this post. We all know nothing, including those who qouted the cars actual sale value (almost to the dollar.)
Fyi, this would never have been so bad, or troll epic, had you not been an entitled know it all.
Had you taken the first bit of advice (that the car was priced too high) and never made a deal of it, you wouldnt be the joke of multiple forums.
Edited post to keep you from crying over a new post. I told you (on that other forum were you got your butt kicked) the car was worth 85k tops. You wound up with a good bit less than that, and thats why im laughing. Sale price was 84k...commission or not, 84 is where bidding stopped. Theres the art of THAT deal. You wanted to sell a Picasso but sold a john doe.

A buyer paid $92,400 for this car - what was I wrong about? BJ fumbled the auction bigly by not even stating any of its main selling points. 3 more vipers to go. Don't you wish you weren't such a *******?

a) I didn't buy the car as an investment.
b) The buyer paid $92.4K; I get about $80K.
c) Can you even afford a viper...maybe with a discount coupon AND a lowball offer AND 84 month financing? Better mortgage your doublewide to make them camaro payments. hahaha

What's truly comedy gold is how triggered the entirety of the viper alley cucks are, after I totally demolished them - so much so that they banned me and retreated into their safe space where to this day they still need to talk each other up after I single-handedly made them realize how pathetic they all are. Now THAT is funny. :D

Who quoted $92,400, which is what a buyer ended up paying for it? Not any of you.

I love how these VA trolls think they're some kind of experts...BJ rushed the car thru and did not mention a single of its key attributes. Instead they opened by rattling off some irrelevant open recalls which are can be serviced for free at any dealer at the buyers' discretion.

You think I give a shit what ********* who live on "forums" say? They joke is on them - I was right - your lowball quotes of $65K-$70K were way off what it actually fetched despite a botched presentation on the block. lol

The car before your's was a 2015 Hellcat, $64K list, $58K net to buyer

Hey man, let's quote MSRP when you know dealers were gouging on the price of hellcats. The fool probably paid close to $80K for it, if not more, didn't drive it at all, trailered it home and had it sitting in his garage for 3 years with him paying insurance on it all the while.

The car hammered for $58K, he gets $53K minus ~2000 for entry fee and transport it to the site, so more like $51K. Minus 3 yrs of insurance costs which would probably be at least $1,000, so $50K. Minus the sales tax + gas guzzler tax he paid, probably down to $48K.

Pays ~$80K sells for $48K 3 years later. Win? According to whom? He got hosed badly considering he bought the car exclusively as an "investment".

"Speaking of a private sale, let me drop a line here and say if anyone reading this wants to buy my 2013 Stryker Red GTS - aka the hottest Viper that money can buy - then contact me on here. I have the nicest pics of the car and all that stuff, and all you need is $150K burning a hole in your pocket and the realization that you're not getting a Viper for any less unless you buy some salvage/lemon junker in black or white."

Big talk by obviously a greedy BS artist. B-J source indicates car sold to a dealer.... he'll likely flip it for $10-30k more than he pays all in. B-J abused owner has been attempting to hit a home run with this car for at least two or three years. PO'd lots of potential buyers. Truth is, B-J has been sued many times for hammering cars too quickly. Putting the car on Friday afternoon was also another major screw up... maybe that's because B-J plays favorites and prime time auction slots when heavy hitters are there go to people like John Staluppi, Tammy Allen and Ron Pratt. Obviously this owner was an auction newbie babe in the woods lamb going to slaughter who fell for B-J's con job.

Lots of seller's want top dollar for their cars, but if it takes you two or three or four years, that means you have to maintain it, insure it, register it, that all costs money and money also has opportunity cost attached to it.

This car was just sitting around because the mileage (2900) stayed constant, which means the owner was afraid to drive it. You could say he was keeping the car for the next guy.

Someone didn't read 'Art of the Deal'. I never expected to get $150K for it. My biggest miscalculation was not considering the fact that the majority of the viper "cuck-munity" is mostly beta males with man-boobs, afraid to negotiate and demonstrably afraid of risk. Many of them have one foot in the grave and don't seem to realize that we leave this world with what we had when we entered - nothing.

Big talk by obviously a greedy BS artist. B-J source indicates car sold to a dealer.... he'll likely flip it for $10-30k more than he pays all in.

Right, in other words, close to the price I would have sold it for all along, or $120K...just now future buyer has to pay full sales tax again...several dealers had stryker reds with the ugly brown interior for under $100K and this buyer paid $92,400 unless there was some secret backroom deal made.

B-J abused owner has been attempting to hit a home run with this car for at least two or three years. PO'd lots of potential buyers.

There are not "lots of potential buyers" for Vipers, champ. Even FCA had to recognize this fact. So why keep talking out of the anus? Serious buyers who I'd actually consider selling to can be counted on one hand, and none of them were "**********". The only faggots who are angry are the cucks on this forum who think the car is only worth $70K on a good day, and mad that I rejected their offers for $60K or less.

Your ass is really flapping right now isn't it...phew! Individual consignors have little or no influence on the lot assignment or day. It's assigned. Yes, B-J will happily screw over people like me to save "prime" slots for big ticket cars. They are a for-profit entity - would you expect them to have $200K-$300K rides scheduled for a morning or afternoon?

Now, with the benefit of hindsight, the soy boys are surfacing to preach how "right" they were, yet not an utterance out of them up to this point. You've essentially self-discredited yourself by doing so...and claiming that B-J sued many times should be public record - do you have a link to said public records?

Lots of seller's want top dollar for their cars, but if it takes you two or three or four years, that means you have to maintain it, insure it, register it, that all costs money and money also has opportunity cost attached to it.

Maintenance costs for a garaged viper = $0.
Insurance costs for a garaged viper = ~$300 / yr.
Reg costs if your state has reg costs = varies by state, est $50 / yr.

All insignificant expenses in my case, furthermore, irrelevant because car was driven and not purchased to be flipped later.

This car was just sitting around because the mileage (2900) stayed constant, which means the owner was afraid to drive it. You could say he was keeping the car for the next guy.

I was "afraid" to drive it? hahaha Best to save the dumbest comment for last.

The stated mileage on my ads was HIGHER than actual mileage, as I also stated that the car would be driven until it sold. I kept it under 2,900 and drove it when I felt like it. It's called common sense...but hey, I could have bought it, trailered it home and never touched it for 5 years. You're not THAT guy, are you?

You can slice and dice the outcome all you want but you lost big time. And made a lot of people happy in the processs. After all your arrogant posts you felt that the high rollers at BJ would surely appreciate that special magenta color....lol....and you got slammed. Once again, congrats on losing over 50% on your special car. And becoming the laughingstock of car forums. Job well done.

Well, I'm nearly $80K richer and your penis still measures up to 2.5" no matter how much you stroke it. :D

Sure, $84K was a disappointing result and B-J definitely rushed it over the block without even mentioning it's main selling points...but you seem to be confused my butthurt friend, you could not have bought it from me for any price because I would not sell it to a **** like you. Your last chance was to bid at BJ and you didn't.

We all told you NEVER sell a Viper at BJ- You asked us, we told you.
I'm glad you are happy.

Who cares what the buyer paid? He’s probably laughing so hard he can’t even remember. With a little luck you might have netted maybe 65-70 grand all in. I would sue BJ..Those dirty ******** cost you a ton of bucks....those slime balls. It’s ALL their fault. BJ thrives on asshole sellers that don’t have a clue. Guess what you are ASTDHAC. I guarantee your picture is hanging on the wall in Steve Davis’s office. What would be a good caption? Anyone have a suggestion. ASTDHAC would be a great start.

Strong rumor afoot says he bought the car back and ate the 20K in fees. Makes sense.

My take on what happened is if you are not part of the rich inner circle at BJ there is a big chance you will take a beating, its not the car, your car was great, but if the big boys do not want it your done, I go to BJ a lot and see some crazy stuff, beautiful cars selling for next to nothing and crap built buy one of there buddies for big money. Some one got a nice car for a great price.

Yah, and I am still waiting for all of those still posting here on the Gen5 forums who were also so sure that the Gen5 was NOT going to be a sales production failure that it turned out to be to also say to me "Folks I was wrong....dead wrong." and that they wish they hadn't been such a smart ass telling ME how I was wrong.

yah, I hold my breath still waiting.
