T56 Identification Tag - Trying to Identify

[Tom and Vipers]

We are trying to determine if the following identification tag came from a 96 GTS T56:

The tag is aluminum w/black paint.

It is 3.25" x .75" approximately with a bolt hole at one end.

There are 2 rows of numbers: (I've used periods between numbers to get the approximate spacing since html replaced multiple spaces/tabs with a single space.)

04855045.....L0762
1386-018....A11193

The "8" in the 1st number and the "11193" in the 4th number is twice as wide as the other numerals.
The "A" in the last number is higher than the numbers in that line by approximately 25% of the vertical height of the numbers.

Any help would be appreciated.

If anyone has worked with T56's and this tag is not familiar, please let me know that because, frankly, I think the 11193 is a date code and this is not a Viper T56 tag.

I have not seen or heard of a tag like that on any of the T56's I've seen.

Can you find the VIN? In 1996 the VIN was stamped on the T56's.

I've been rounding up bags of parts for my GTS that has been in this guys shop for over 2 years!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ron, do you remember what bolt this tag is usually on?

Tag is connected to the tail housing upper driver's side bolt.

Same shape and size, but it's a red-pink color.

The viper T56 actually has the viper logo embossed into the trans.
