Actually, the C5 is an abomination.
Just think.
The poor, lowly synchronizer has to synchronize the clutch disk AND the bleedin' draveshaft connecting the clutch disk to the transmission.
No granted, the drive shaft has a small diameter which reduces its rotational mass, but it is soooooooooo long!
Then, of course, there is replacing the clutch bit on the C5 too.
The Corvette will definitely push the envelope on T56 synchros.
