What RPM's are you letting the clutch out at and how hard are you on the gas pedal once the clutch is engaged? It does make a big difference.

I'am letting clutch out at low rev but seems to be tough to even
get it to lay rubber,,,maybe I'am just not use to it but with my
vette that had a few mods it was pushing 400 hp take off was brutal on tires,,,and it does sputter some times if I hit it hard
??? car sat for maybe 8 months its first full tank of gas since ??what do ya think ???
thanks

The last car mag I read said they got the best launch in the Gen 3 Viper at 2500 rpm.

Not sure where you live, but I would ask around and find a good Viper Tech to check it out. My car has never sputtered...keep us posted.

ok, forget those comments about dumping the clutch, my dad's 05 will easily spin the tires, if you let the clutch out at idle and then ROMP the gas. So you definitely need some type of tune up. Get the car looked at. I'm sure its nothing big, maybe needs new plugs, or new spark plug wires, or an airfilter change, or a fuel filter change (not that early with your milage though). Get someone good in your area to take a look. Or maybe its crappy gas, if you just got the car? Dont know, but these bad boys will rip, and thats not even including ones like my 06 that are super charged !!

Sounds like you need a check up and maybe a tune up too.
