I am going to upgrade my Viper this summer w/ new/ported heads and 1.7 rockers. I have a set of Crower rockers(+ cromoly rods, springs, ti retainers) that came uninstalled with my used 97 GTS. Should I just use these(free) or fork over the extra 1500 or so for the TDs? I am not going to race and can't see the justification. The car already has SVSi headers, cats and snake oyl exhast along w/ a Hennessey ECU and intake

Also, any recomendation for heads? This is for street driving and a few autocross runs so I want to keep the cost below crazy.

Thanks,
Todd

I have heard that the Crowers can "float" some at sustained high rpms when racing, but if I am not driving on the track or increasing the redline will this really be an issue? The previous owner also mentioned something about having to use washers with the new studs??? I am just starting to look into this and have do not have any details yet

I will try giving Doug's shop a ring next week when when I break free. As you can tell, I'm not doing the work, just helping get background info

Thanks for the help,

Todd
