While reading through some of the threads, it is becoming rather obvious.
It seems like more and more people in the VCA have become inflicted with the dreaded desease..."Multiviperitis"
( From the Latin, Gotahavmorofemus )

I feel I must admit it. I have Multiviperitis...:omg::omg::omg:

Some of the signs of the signs of the desease are:

-Smiling....alot.
-When shopping for a house, the most important aspect of the house is how big the garage is...
-When looking at your friends, family or any house, the most important aspect is, how big the garage is...
- When you "car color matching" driving clothes, fill an entire closet...
-Nice days are particularly nice because you know you can drive your Viper (usually at least one of them is running...)
- Thinking about all the different mods you still want to do, to each one.
-When you are in a hurry, and while running out the door, you grab the familiar keychain with the Viper key fob, stick the key in the ignition, and it is to another car...
-When going to the garage, you can't remember which car has gas in it..
- Did I say Smiling alot..

I know some of you have it. It is OK. You are among friends. Share your experiences...

not sure if this is part of that or just an obsession, but due to some lousy weather, I have taken solace in just leaving the house with the Viper keyfob in my pocket.:) wishful thinking, I guess.

Hmmm... I'm afraid that is one of the symptoms. That's how it starts. Pretty soon the weather will be nice and for whatever reason your Viper might be down...

What's a Viper Lover to do ....?:panic::panic:

1. Call friends to go for a ride in their car(You can try this, might work for short time...)

2. Unfortunate but inevitable solution...GET A SPARE CAR.

3. (This one of terminal signs of Multiviperitis)... You start modding different, multiple Vipers for different types of driving.

(I.E)..
- This car is.... Loud, obnoxious, big hp, "Badass" car... This car is for Friday night with the Guys cruisin or taking to Viper Event...w/o your gal.
-This car is......Usually has some bolt on mods, nothing major. Highly polished and clean. nice wheels and tires.... This car is for an evening (non viper club) social or family event. Or, a Viper event...w/ your gal...
-This car is... usually a little older and a little '"rougher". You got this car for the track. This 'track" car is necessary because you took your spotless "pride and joy" to your first or second track day and....:omg: Your baby got "track trashed":omg: (car has never been that dirty before), Possibly got a ding, scratch or even worse....:omg:
But, you know you love to race so... Get a car for that.
It can get worse, Be Warned

Financing signs for the desease... You may start asking youself if you really need that meal, you could put the money toward that new set of headers... or a track car.

The last few weeks I have found myself constantly day dreaming about driving the Viper in beautiful weather. This happens usually several times a day.

I do not suffer from this illness yet, but I feel that I have early signs. After spending 10 years dreaming of ownership I finally got my hands on my very own Viper. A few weeks later I had almost come to accept the fact that I had accomplished a huge goal at a pretty young age so I found myself wondering.... what do I do next?

After careful deliberation, the only real answer I came up with was to set my next goal on a second Viper :dunno:

So I am not the only one that had that issue not long after getting the car??:lmao::lmao:

I came to the same conclution. Although I only have 1 Viper at this moment, I will eventually suffer from multiviperitis. I know this as I am already suffering the early symtoms.;)

My TO GET list::rolleyes:

2008 Smurf blue ACR
2009 Yellow/black ACR (well, that may depend on what CAAP does this year:rolleyes:)
1992 (well, any first gen would do - maybe a yellow one:D)
1998 GTS-R
1996 Blue and White

And if I am REALLY lucky:

A comp coupe for weekend fun:D

I think for starters though, I need to get some form of track Viper so I can race without worrying about oopsies and airborn rubber particles.:smirk:

Man I have a problem.....:rolleyes: Granted, I see I am not alone!:D:D I guess you could say you guys are my idols!:lmao:

I have saved myself from this disease and now have one rather than the two 2008s that I used to own. The problem is I now look and my garage and think, I did have room for both of them and WHAT was I thinking....but again I can still order in the near future a 2009 or so the voices tell me.

more symptoms of this disease are.....

1. you realize that you have let the battery die on one of your Vipers and feel bad because you neglected it while having fun with the other one.
2. pulling off the car cover and realizing its the wrong Viper.
3. it takes 30 minutes to decide which Viper you want to take to a car event.
4. trying to justify remodeling your house so you can expand the garage for a 'track car' because you still can't bring yourself to race one of your beautiful Vipers. (this may only effect those with limited land)

I too suffer from this disease but enjoy every minute of suffering.

Mike,

When I met you at VOI, I knew I was in trouble - as I think you gave me some of that disease as well. I loved building my first Street Serpent and I think I've been bit again. I've been debating about starting another serpent - OR possibly sending my current serpent to Paolo for a low boost TT setup.

Going thru some serious Viper withdrawal right now is compounding the frustration. I did at least get to see my Viper at the shop that painted my Serpent yesterday. He's touching up up a few things and is doing the final wetsand/buff as he wanted the paint to settle for 6 months based on how many coats of paint we have on it.

I could have used a few private minutes with my Viper, and since he was there I didnt even get to sit in the seat to at least make some VROOM, VROOM sounds.

CMON SPRING!

See, all of you are among friends, this is a "safe place"

I wanted to point out one of the other signs of the disease,.. Denial. It manifests itself by mispelling "disease"...repeatedly...:rolleyes:

"Jeffrey and Robert"... Yes, you obviously are infected. Unfortunately the sickness is widespread in your area. That is why there was a symposium in your your city.( VOI 9) One of the major topics discussed at the symposium was MULTIVIPERITIS.
It is so prevalent in your area that the disease was given it's own name for your area. It is known by the Latin;
- Blackjackamus Loserem MULTIVIPERITIS

BEWARE...

"ROCKET 62"... My Street Serpent brother... We have discussed your urges on several occasions. It is good to vent these urges and get them out. As I mentioned at the closing of our conversations, I may not be the best person to talk to since I have long been diagnosed, TERMINAL.
You have done well to this point. However there are some signs you should be aware of;
- You took your wheels to an even greater level of excellance. Sign of boredom because you have got to do something Viper related.
_ Getting paintwork done on one of the most beautiful, custom color paint jobs I have ever seen. You are touching up the car that won, BEST OF SHOW at VOI. What was the problem with your paint?... Couldn't see your retina in the back of your eye in the reflection...jeez

John I'm afraid it won't be long now...
( Hey, got a tip on some "stuff". I will be pm'n you..)

I see there are more people looking at this thread than are posting. Don't be ashamed. Tell you stories..

BTW... Can you tell I haven't driven a Viper in a long time...:rolaugh::D:rolaugh::D:rolaugh:
