There are a few of us headed up from Central Texas for the Texas Concorso (http://www.texasconcorso.com/) and would like to see some other Snakes come to hang out. We are leaving from Austin at the intersection of Highway 620 and Highway 71 (Chevron/Mobil station).

We are driving up for the Day and they will let us drive our cars on the track at lunch time…fun times!

And it is only a couple of bucks!

Sounds like fun. DFW area members how about we rendezvous at ******* in Grapevine since it's between Dallas and Ft. Worth and caravan? What time? Anyone want to suggest a different meeting point? Let's decide and then email got one to meet up with them.

LOL...my Father in Law lives in Grapevine. He is a Vette owner though, so we don't talk to him much ;)

I'd prefer to meet up on the south side of Fort Worth, but then that's where I live so I'm probably a little biased. lol

If they plan to do parade laps at lunch time I'd suggest we not get to MSR any later then 11:00. It's about a 25 to 30 min drive down 377 from 820.

Sounds reasonable. Can you suggest a meeting place just off the highway that would correspond to those travelling from the Grapevine and northern Tarrant county area? If you could give us an address we could mapquest. How far would we be from the Ranch to caravan together?

I think the easiest place would be to meet in the parking lot of the Hulen mall. Near Sears on the Hulen side.

4800 S Hulen Street
Fort Worth, Texas 76132-1406

From the mall to MSR is only about 30 miles, so not a very long caravan. :(

Works for me! What time...say 10:30 am? PM me and we can exchange cell#s with all that are going to ensure a good rendezvous and stay in touch in case any issues come up. got one, you just want to hook up at the Ranch entrance at say 11:30 am or are you getting there earlier? How many cars coming with you?

I am trying real hard to go, but am not sure if I am going to make it.
At last count, we had a few Vipers, a Diablo, and a Prowler looking at making the treck up from Austin. Ryan has the master list though, so he is the go-to guy.

Okay folks here is the plan.

We are going to meet you in Grandury. Should be around 10-10:30.
I will call Patrick (Pattymelt1285) when we reach Hico, which will put us about 30-45 minutes outside of Grandbury.

You folks will actually pass Cresson to get to Grandbury on 377, but it will only be about 20 minutes or so. In Grandbury, we can stop for some quick pictures then head off together to get our spots together at MotorSport Ranch.

Clear as mud?

If any one neesd to reach me, pattymelt has my number.
