I don't want to complain or upset anyone on the fantastic results and event preparation and hosting. But isn't this the second time this year the person that had the low ET then donned the stock tires and cleaned up that Low ET award also. I would think and its only my suggestion is that the low ET for street tires should be awarded to the guy's who spend all weekend on the stock street tires. There probably the ones that could use them the most. Don't take this the wrong way as I don't want to get anyones painties in an uproar. Just a thought provoking suggestion to give the street tire warrior something more than the bracket racing title to shoot for.

Hooiser Daddy come over next year and see how it works. We proposed the Stock cars run heads up inside the bracket for the Corsa Exhaust system we awarded the fastest stock Viper.

As I said previously it was a thought, was not intended to disrupt the thinking or preparation of any part of your event. And I'm not interested in starting an argument. I mean lets face it if a guy has the fastest car on slicks he probably will have the fastest on street tires one would think. This is just a casual observation from two drag events this year. My highly modified Viper consisting of just a Corsa Catback would have really nothing to run for then since I'm already out of the stock class. But the biggest stepping stone for me to over come is pure Dead Time standing around.

Lets see 7 hrs of track time at Putnam Park for a Viperdays weekend event OR maybe what 20 or so 1/4 mile passes over the weekend totaling 5 minutes of track time (that is generous since I know I can run faster than a 15 second pass) Unfortunately both events seem to fall on the same weekend every year, so you know were I will be. I know you have no control over this.

Parts rack has been very generous to the Viper community. Jon B has sponsored numerous events through out the year.
Thank you for the sponsorship as well as the gifts.

I did all my testing on the radials....all day Friday at least 4 passes and 1 on Saturday. My fast radial pass had a 1.670 60 ft time with a 10.809 ET at 134.67 mph. A 1.670 60 ft is hard to do with even skinnys and slicks much less our stock pilot tires and run thru gears to almost run a 10.7(10.809 is very close to 10.7).

It is hard run fast and not have the stock radials break loose....it takes skill. It could possibly be a record for fastest radial time.

I made only three runs on skinnys and slicks.
