Actually I would like to thank Wendy Macedo for lending us her Viper tuner, I mean husband for four days. Larry thank you for your patience and great tuning. I know as a crew we can be quite demanding; "Larry how about this, Larry what if we change that you don't need sleep, Larry the wheel fell off my trailer at 85 mph, etc, etc. I think it was all worth it in the end, I know it was for me. My car ran flawlessly and consistent. On BFG DR I went 11.1 @127, with one of the crew in the passenger seat and a video camera the car went 11.3 at 126 mph. On the the Michelin's we pulled a 1.55 60 ft time. On the long trip home I could't take looking at the Viper on the trailer and we took it off and I drove it the remainding 200 miles. The true test of a well tuned street machine, race the hell out of it, be consistent all day long, then drive it home. Thank you.

There is nothing like a Roe Supercharged Viper! They are meant to be driven on the street...to the track...to the grocery store...to the cruise in...to the gas station...and when you're too tired to drive it anymore...to your garage.
I can't imagine anyone with a Roe Supercharged Viper keeping it as a low mileage car - these cars are just too fun to drive. I find myself forcing myself to put miles on my daily driver Ram truck and driving my Roe Supercharged Viper daily.

John, can you give us a run down of your mods? I would love to know exactly what it would take to run those numbers. That ET is amazing for DR's!

John has STOCK headers and STOCK throttle bodies , I think he has only 2 mods. He also had a amazing a 1.55 ( maybe a record) 60 foot time on Pilots, he should at the least get free tires from Michelin!

I have stock exhaust manifolds and heat shields, Corsa Cat back, no cats, 1.7 T&Ds, and smooth tubes and filters, and the Roe Super Charger. Macedo Motorsports did the installation and tuning of the mods. I'm quite sure the car will go into the high 10s if I can get the BFG Drag radials a little hotter. But it is nice having an 11.1 - 11.2 second street car that I can drive to work every day, I brought it today and it is 90 degrees today.

I have not dynoed the car yet, but I suppose it will be around the 550 mark at the wheels. I was not checking my rpm, but I think I launched around 2000 rpm, feather the clutch out slow while applying slightly more power (yes you will wear the clutch)once I feel the tires stick the pedal goes to the floor. The super charger really pulls hard, 6000 rpm comes up very quickly. Generally I get 1.7s and low 1.8s on the stock tires. I run them at 20 psi. On Saturday I ran consistent 1.6s on Cudaman's BFG drag radials.
