These photos were just emailed to me by a good friend of mine in Dubai, Majid. He didn't know if he could post photos so this post is for him.

M, got pretty much an entire replacement car from me last November hood, rear end, tail lights, rear aero, wing, splitter, canards bumper, fenders, etc and now after a few months of hard work he has it finished and sent photos to me as promised. As you can see, he had another car to use as a daily driver while he worked on his beloved Viper so I don't think he was in too much of a hurry...

This is how Dodge should have made these cars and I am only happy to help M show the car off!

Nice, but tell your friend how to lower the body with the shock settings....the car looks very strange lifted like that. He should also add your CF canards. ;)

Ummmm no.
The real ACR vert wing was designed for the car's different aerodynamics than the coupe.
That's going to look like a picnic table following the car with the top down.

Hey, now you know what your car looks like as a VERT! LOL

They were carbon fiber, they were!

Satin black addiction is spreading everywhere...

As ViperJon has indicated...be careful with this setup until it has been thoroughly tested in a wind tunnel. There is a reason that the FACTORY ACR Verts had their wings lowered!!

So the press release says,... for when the top is down

He also has my lower wing height stantions for when he wants the wing to create 800 lbs less down force

Shandon and a few others would have a few things to say about one of my ACR wings on the back of a vert, like

"The damn thing stuck like GLUE, it made so much down-force that I have to buy a cooler for my rear end"

I dont like the look at all of the ACR convertibles. For me the wing just looks totally ricer. Even on the factory cars. Just not my thing.

I love the color combo and the rear pulls the whole look together! Very clean!

Ouch! I think you're right - I'll never be able to get that thought out of my head now every time I see a winged vert. Austin, think you can show two people or so eating and drinking off of a winged Viper vert to show off their versatility?

They did not make any Convertable ACR with that wing.

That wing *looks* like the ACR Vert wing made for Woodhouse Dodge. Pretty sure. He is saying he made a facsimile of an ACR Vert out of Dodge-sourced parts, including that wing. That is my interpretation at least.
