I saw $3.19 this morning for 93 octane.

What happened to the party that claims to be looking out for the little guy but in bed with the environmentalist? The little guy isn’t going to be planning some quality time with his family this weekend, he’ll be out looking for extra work. How bout it “left wingers” how about getting behind the rest of the country and opening up some new oil refineries, oil wells and power plants? It will create new jobs and you can take credit for it.

I think the silent majority needs to start making some noise. These special interest groups and there hired professional activists and ruining this country with their scare tactics and spin doctors. It’s become political suicide to go against these interest groups. When they get together to work on someone or something “ right or wrong” that person doesn’t have a chance. Look at Newt Gingrich and Trent Lott to name a couple, and what Bush is having to endure over following through on a unanimous decision of the UN on Iraq. This is a great time to rein in the power we’ve given them and get every American who drives a car and uses electricity to get pissed and let their voices be heard.

There, I’ve said it and I feel better. I think I’ll take the Viper for a drive now:)

We will adapt. Changes happen much more rapidly when a crisis happens. Within the next two years there will be a car on the market that runs on Hydrogen. Yeah, it will be expensive, but it will be the start of something that will change the world and we'll finally shut off the flow of money to the middle east! Couldn't happen soon enough.

THANK YOU KATRINA YOU ******!!!

Crudeoil-L coming in at $68.95 a barrel right now on the boards. Topped $70.90 Monday. New contracts came out yesterday so thats the reason for the hike so soon. I filled up tanks Teus evening at $2.56 Reg, and $2.95 super. Now they are all over $3. This will slowly have on impact on everything if it stays this high.

Some other reasons for the price of crude is that India and China economies are booming and they are demanding a high consumpion of oil (importing). They also are bidding the price up on the open market. We could use more refineries here in the US but everytime they try to put one up someone complains about having this in their backyard. Bottom line though is someone somewhere is getting very rich off of us.

We need to move to an alternate source like Hydrogen. But first, fuel cell technology must be improved to make vehicles more powerful. Hydrogen extraction must be improved also (right now electrolosys is basically run from oil burning powerplants so whats the point?) to make such an economy feasable. This would reduce our reliance on oil imports and create more jobs and spent money here in the good O'l USA. Watch how cheap a tank of gas would get then... But that would require an entire industry shift which does not happen overnight. Eventually it has to happen, we cannot rely on oil forever... So get ready for a H2 powered Viper someday...I think that will get here before the hybrid viper does.

In the meantime I'm going to look for my old moped stashed somewhere in the garage behind a mess of stuff.
