The new name just revealed for ALMS and Grand AM merger.

United SportrsCar Racing and a pretty cool red logo. It was the choice sent in by a karting racer who was invited to the announcement on SPEED. I voted also months ago on line with Championship Of The Americas or CAMS for short but I think the new name is very good for the combined effort. I think the logo is a joke honestly. They paid a firm big $$$ and they came up with that..... FAIL. The refreshed IMSA logo looks great and at least they seemed to get the car classes right.

I am still trying to get over the fact that NASCAR is all over the TV and cable, and sportscar racing in the US has been to a substantial extent booted to the internet.
