but for the record i will take the new coupe over any vette or ZO6 no matter what i did this picture and i really loved the new coupe see for your self and tell me which one you will pick ?

The Viper coupes roof is too high. Where'd the low and aggressive looks go? Side by side, kinda makes the vette look low.

I hope DC is hiding the HP boost secret. It only makes sense that they need to keep it under wraps until they sell as many leftover 2004 SRT-10 ragtops as they can. Who would want one AFTER they announce 600hp? (DC, if this is your plan, please make a retrofit kit available for the parts so I can 'cowboy up' my 2003)

Both aint the greatest lookers but Ill take the Z06. Lighter and just as powerful and cheaper. As it stands now its a no brainer to me....that profile of the Viper ***** to me...the rear glass treatment is bad...since they were obviously channeling GTS they should have made the rear glass area flow into the duck tail a la GTS. Even the Vettes rear glass area flows into the rear. The Viper looks like a hard top was merged into it. It just doesnt do it for me...I think that those of us that want a GTS better get one NOW while the prices are relatively reasonable...I see the prices for GTS's going through the roof in the near future...

Im going to agree with you since its your opinion and im sure all what we talking about here is about our love to a great car called viper, but the more I look at the new coupe the more I really like it I never liked the rt/10 and the srt/10 not because the look just I don’t like anything convertible I only loved the SL, anyway no ZO6 can stop me from buying the new coupe even if its faster “I hope DC will address this and pump the HP for the new C” , for me I always place the viper way a head of any vette I know many hates the srt/10 but honest I went out with my cousin few times and each time we got thumps up and people following us and so on, no vette does that and no vette will do that with all my respect to any vette owner here but it’s the truth as much as when I went driving a murcielago the other day and the murcielago got more attention than my 1100hp viper no bad feeling it’s the truth. So yes they lost the aggressive look for GI & GII ! but for me and its me they didn’t lost my love for the Viper

ps. new zo6 got what 500HP ? i guess im already prepared

Mbn glad you took my comments in the right light...Im very passionate about this car from day one..Before there was even a Viperclub...Im just saddened a bit by the direction the looks have taken....But as with most new cars they will eventually grow on you some how wheather you like it or not lol...The SRT10 certainly did, though my lust still remains for only the GTS...

BTW you are not just prepared...Thats overkill lol...
