I will be putting my 96 GTS on the market in the near future. It is a #1 car with 14,000 miles.
Has a Corsa cat back exhaust (have original) and the power steering pulley upgrade. Everything else is stock.

I would like exposure, but not thrilled with all the noise that comes with certain sites.

What are the top two or three sites you would recommend?

I just sold my 97 GTS on Bring a Trailer for over $42K and was extremely pleased. The fee is $99 and the buyer pays 5% of the bid up to a max of $5K. Pluses are that you can state a reserve and with each higher bid in the final two minutes resets the clock to a new two minutes so there is no “quick hammer”. Bidding goes about 6 days but the excitement is in the final minutes. I very much like our site here but you asked for options so just being helpful to a fellow Viper Pilot. Good providence!

I would recommend auto trader or cargurus. For selling I prefer a Autotrader and for buying either site is excellent. Cost for a Autotrader with all the bells and whistle’s is $90. Good luck

Thank you for the information. Glad you had a good experience. I wasn't sure if BAT was the right audience.

I have a '96 GTS currently advertised on AutoTrader Classic and I have an unexpected problem with them. When someone sends me an email through AutoTrader I get an email from the site that basically says, "Hey someone from this email address sent you a message." There is no return email through AutoTrader. I have to copy the sender's email into my email service and send a personal email. I may be paranoid but I would prefer that first exchange happen within AutoTrader, not outside. Then let me and the potential buyer decide if we want to exchange email or phone numbers. Just my opinion!

By the way, I've heard lots of good things about Bring A Trailer

Sold my '96 on this site (car in my sigtag). Didn't really advertise, but someone was looking for one and posted I might consider selling' That guy and a couple others were not interested in mine at that time, needed to get a little more money. A couple months later someone was searching this site , found the post I mentioned possible interest in selling (not my own post), contacted me and got it sold. I really sold it because my wife wanted to park her new car in the garage after parking outside for over 7 years. I must say, I do miss her. Good luck.

Don't be afraid of Ebay... it casts the widest net. I sold a 99 Viper RT and a classic pickup on ebay in days after months of trying to find a seller via any other means.

+1 for Ebay. That's where I found my Viper only 100 miles from my home after looking all over the country online.

I see you are in Washington state. I have been looking casually for the past year and feverishly for the past month and I notice cars from Washington tend to fetch lower prices. I would imagine the distance to the larger cities and the fact that you have long, salty winters scares quite a few people. I wish you the best of luck with your sale.

when you decide you are ready to sell, let me know. Thanks.

+1 for Ebay, but unless things have changed, you may not get the highest dollar from there vs other places. In 2011 I bought my 98GTS with 18000 miles for $31,700. Even then, that was significantly lower than what I was looking at on other sites. I mean yes that was 8 years ago, but likely not the best place if you are wanting to squeeze out every dollar you can from the sale.

I just sold one of my Shelby GT350s on BAT and the process was smooth and it got a lot of attention. I would highly recommend it as well. I paid $350 (instead of $99) for the professional pictures. Very Happy. I would know that you will have to be very responsive to the comments to keep up with the questions and ignore the "noise" to make it as successful as possible on there.
