They can say that.. but come on... if you were going to bid on something like that, falsely, would you give a real name and address? Nope

Good luck tracking down someone with a hotmail acct LOL

A lot of times, sellers themselves make new accts, then bid on their own stuff to make it seem like "Yeah, this is a cool item.. people are already bidding! better jump in and bid before it's too late...". Seen lot's of prices driven up higher because of false bidders.

Getting a bid is one thing...Getting the money is another...I occasionally sell things on ebay and the number of dead beat bidders seems to be quite high these days...

I have seen this car in person. It was at Park Place, a high dollar dealer east of Seattle. At the time I didn't know how much they wanted for it. I liked the flames alot but don't I would do this on a new Viper. The thing I didn't like is the huge miral (sp) of dolphins on the hood. When I looked up on their website when I got home I was laughing, thinking it was a joke, asking $220,000. Other than the flames and dolphins the car looked 100% stock. Humm, I would only charge $4,000 to do flames like that, maybe I should be charging $150,000.
