Take it from me, cars are recyclable, a trait not shared by people. It will rip your heart out to see you car in the morning but call us when you're ready and we'll help you get baby back on the road.
That *****, *****, *****! I had something similar happen to me when I was driving my '71 Duster 340, but I was injured and the driver that ran the red light tried to get away, but the witnesses blocked her car in so she couldn't leave the scene.
I am glad you and your wife are okay.
Get a mean & hungry lawyer and make sure the woman who hit you pays big for your loss and she never legally drives again.
Good luck, but don't you hate to hear the old...."it's only a car" thing?
Hell, I'll take a broken bone over my car being wrecked anytime. I'll heal, the car needs to be fixed and may ever be the same. But I've been in plenty of accidents....so just keep after the details with the car, don't let anyone off the hook, and you'll do okay.
Tough spot, but glad no one really hurt. Been there.
Have been t-boned by a lady that ran a 'stop' sign
(not the Viper), and had the Viper on-fire at a
TEXACO gas staion. Hope you do NOT have
"ROYAL & SunAlliance Insurance" who will pay the lowest
car value they can find, refuse to negotiate,
ignore Va Insurance Code, etc.
Keep us posted on your insurance progress and geting it
fixed or replaced.
good luck!
it's only a car honestly though, i would take a broken bone over my car being messed up also. i wouldnt take anything more serious though, as long as i would make a 100% recovery then it's all good....
Arggh! I can just feel it all. I drive the Snake almost daily and it's a constant worry.. especially with all the tourists who are here this time of year and invaribly cut across three lanes of traffic to turn into the Lucky Snapper or some such with out a signal, a look in the mirror or a care...you just never know.
I am thankful you and your wife are OK. Best wishes on getting the Viper fixed properly.
Wow, sorry to hear, hope it all works out for, when wracking your brain with the why, why, why questions at that point look to health thing and how you walked away unscathed, that should help.....
And thanks for the FasRack Chinguard, been on there over a year, works sweet!
You at least had the mind to keep your self under control and not go off and look the fool. As every one has said good to here that no one was hurt. good luck.
