I can't say for certain, but one of the pieces I am reading on it says 30 pounds for the rotors alone... :2tu:

Chris --

I actually contacted Stoptech directly and their slaes staff did not have the exact weight specs but they estimated the savings per rotor to be roughly 8-9 lbs per corner over the stock rotors which is consistent with your information.

Hey Chris, I wonder if you could clear this up for me. A previous member posted a brochure for the 08' SRT with the mention of a aero package which seems the same as the ACR. Is the rear spoiler on the green SEMA viper part of the aero package?

The Gen II ACR was a coupe, +1 VCA RT/10 ACR, I wish I had very badly. Anyway, is the ACR like a option for coupe or convertible owners, or is it a totally seperate thing on it's own? (i.e. SRT, SRTC, SRT ACR)

The Aero Group is totally separate and unrelated. The ACR is only available on the Coupe. The spoiler pictured from SEMA is a shorter spoiler and I don't know is adjustable or not. Hope this helps!

Hmmm..Orange with black center w/o stripe....interesting choice. I am personally thinking of the MX3/AP6+MU4

Does the ********* package eliminate the AC?
I was tokd no as it would have to go through fed cert again to do that, plus nobody really wants it without air.

Chuck, what else do you see this car needing besides a harness? I'll reinstall my G2X (it's plug and play anyway). I think I'd like a little bigger front tire but the aero might help with any understeer as it is. I would guess I can finally outbrake some of those pesky porsches for a change.

But the aero group does come with the ACR package?
Nope. I believe the Aero Group is a compromise between the two with some (but not all) of the ACR's looks but no tires, wheels, dive planes, shocks, etc. What Chuck would very affectionately refer to as a "poser package".

What is the Customer One Loyalty Mailing?
Among other things it is the SRT mailings (brochures/news), DODGE magazine, etc.

Herr Pemberton, did you get my email? GK3/EM50-APQ I'll keep the radio, sorry guys :D
Well, I thought ol' Doctor Bob was commenting on the orange/black for himself, but seeing as it is for one of my favorite former Viper owners that is returning to the fold, here is my attempt at a Photoshop just for you:

orangeacr4.jpg

Will there be a charge for the ********* delete package??
I believe that there will be no extra charge for the ******** package - you will probably have either option for your ACR at the same price.

Will the timer be installed free with the ******** package?
No. It is provided loose and a plate inserted where the radio would go. And ONLY with the ******** package - no lap timer with the "regular" package. I think the idea is to be able to mount it wherever you want it - if you want it mounted at all.

Does the ********* package eliminate the AC?
No. The car includes A/C no matter what. But that is not to say you couldn't pull it yourself along with a few other weighty objects such as the passenger seat, etc. :2tu:

I wonder if I can get $80,000 trade in with my 98 viper? LOL I want one!!! Need to buy Lottery tickets I guess.
Or you could just join the VCA, buy a single raffle ticket (where the odds are incredibly better than the lottery) and win this one. Just a thought... ;)

I think Chris was working on a black with single red stripe version for me :headbang: to photoshop but I think he spent all his time on the orange and black one because I confused him with my code post. Please Chris...it will just cost me another dinner for the family...pizza this time :rolaugh:

Harness is it. I wonder if they didn't install a harness because of the recall on the GenII ACR harness?

Yeah the aero should help with any understeer. Scaling will help too. And those Michelins are a pretty dang good tire.

Yeah, those Cup tires at an 80 treadwear rating are close to the Hoosier R3S06's at a 40 rating and light years ahead of the Pilot Sports at 220. When I did the OTC (7 tracks in 7 days) Cups didn't come in Viper sizes, but some in the BMW class had 'em and dominated the Touring class :D
