had to call out Baz on a emergency call, to perform some surgery after the waterpump had failed (a known fault on 00/01 cars, the impella was spinning on the shaft not pushing the water around as it should so the engine would overheat making it un-driveable)
like any apprentice his work was methodically checked by his master over in the
States, who phoned a few times to check on his young apprentice's workmanship even though with the time difference the rest of the US was still asleep
while the coolant was out, Baz also swapped the factory 195 degree thermosat for a 180.
Needless to say, my GTS is back to full health, cheers to Baz and 'The Wizard' once again for sending over the parts and valuable advice, by email and phone
more work planned today to test the humble apprentice, as he tackles a few more Viper tasks...
Baz has worked on nearly every UK members viper over here, using Chuck as his guru and OE parts supplier
