Baz,

Why go from a Gen 1 to a Gen 1.5? If you're gonna make the move, why not go to a 1997 - 1999 Gen 2? Power windows, air bags, higher hp - (450 vs 415 for the 96).

Just my $0.02.

 after all that hard work and big $ my original offer still stands :D
you know you need a GTS Baz and not another gen1 !

Why dont you save a bundle and just have a re-spray, if you want that color scheme, I dont think a color change would effect the re-sale price to much if you decide to the GTS route next year ;)

can't be many white and blues about in the US for sale ?

I thought the same as Neil. Repainting would probably be cheaper than selling, buying, importing etc. Plus, you get to keep the great car you've built up.

Does anyone know the reasoning behind the 1997 blue and white to why they did not make the stripes go through the license plate like the '96?

Anyway, I'm a big fan of this color scheme. Have you seen snakesters viper? He has a blue and silver RT/10 and it's breathtaking!

Would be looking at about £35k for it..
Ive just always liked the look of the 96 white/blue set of 2000 18" rims, nice cat less exhaust..
Reminds me of the GT2s without a roof.....

I hope the owner of this viper does not mind me posting pics......

The pictures are not of a factory painted white with blue stripes. The original blue stripes do not extend over the front facia- they come to a point on the topfront of the hood. Also they are not as wide as those pictured. That car looks like one belonging to a WA VCA member.
