SSG makes you an instant rock star ... seriously ... pictures never stop, thumbs up constantly, God I love that car comments not unusual, is that a custom paint job , ... If you like how gorgeous and outrageous Vipers are ... SSG takes it to the next level.

SSG is GREEN. It's pretty, but it is still GREEN. Historically, green cars don't sell as well as other colors, especially bright red ones. One day, like the day after you buy it, it will be a USED GREEN car. If the color turns you on better than any others, buy it anyway! But if you want to maintain your investment, you would be rolling the dice against the odds to count on a green car holding value. I like the color very much for YOU, but not for ME. I would grow tired of it-like hunter's orange is bright, but not for me on my Viper. All that being said, ask yourself whether you're interested in driving the wheels off it, or just investing. If investing, you'd do better with another commodity. Vipers hold value well for a car, but not well compared to some stocks, bonds, mutual funds. Vipers are to be driven-not put in a piggy bank. Go for it if you like what you see, but otherwise, I'd pick another color, like blue, GTS blue, any color except the dark red this year.

1BADGTS, just keep it and drive it like you stole it. The dark reds apparently are not selling well, but they sure are nice cars. I wouldn't even think of selling yours for less than a price in the 70's. All you need to do for now is put another 99,000 miles on it and you'll get your money's worth out of it!

on the exotic cars bright colors always hold there values, for example challenegers and cudas that were orange or plum crazy held stronger resale values,so imo ssg cars will always bring more than other colors even 20 years from now.
