Mr. Dulth's name is Dan...
In regards to the trailer question - that was my first route when picking up mine in IL last month. But, the agency did all cars "but" Vipers - evidently they had an issue loading one before... I was informed that 6 foot ramps would be necessary... I ended up hiring a guy to load the car on the back of his truck - hydraulic lifts - and get it to me for $400. I followed him... But you have much more distance (East Coast)where that may not be an option...
Careful on the doors as well - I hear the fenders on trailers will cause problems... I also had to use 2x4's so the nose wouldn't hit - and then back it off in my driveway - which is sortof steep... Kindof a hair wrenching experience - but I did it all with almost an inch to spare! Just be careful! And nail those 2x4's - they will kick out and possibly damage your new baby.
In the end - once I got the nose on to the flatbed - we took our time and wenched it on the rest of the way - and then he tilted the bed down to its horizontal position...
Jamie - Faster Pussycat played at the Carpet in St Cloud last Saturday... I've been to the Blues Festival a few times - not interested in the music - just the views (
)... Besides, flying up the North Shore on that highway may be fun - now the trick is how to not do the three hour ride up there...!
