Little known fact. The Ferrari 360CS stripes are vinyl and clear coated over.

PLUM - go to www.u-p.com Look at their chart for color # 876 (Bright Purple Metallic). I'm looking at a sample chart from when I ordered my vinyl and that purple looks good! I bought a 50' roll 8" wide from my local source and it was MORE than enough for the GTS......even after messing up a few times.

I dunno about that site, Plum. What brand of vinyl is it? How thick? I have always used the 3M premium / Avery vinyl can't go wrong with a name brand.
Try these guys:

I have used them many times, they just use the Avery for racing stripes.

Just for info, the vinyl I used was Avery. If you ordered from the website I listed, that's what you'd get. Nice finish and looks glossy even without a clear-coat. Just imagine the purple as shown above, but with a fine metallic in the sunshine! That's what I'm talkin' about... :2tu:

I like it Plum, I always like sumthin different.
And you can always take them off in about 1/2 hour.
It's like getting a new car, no kidding. When I did mine it changed it from "Hey, whats that red car I see up there" to "HEY look at that VIPER up ahead" it says Viper a mile away.

Cheers Phil..
Think the stripes varied slightly from year to year but not by much... 8" 4" 8" was the happy medium..

Make sure you get some extra material, you will have a few screwups especially around the nose. The flat-ish surfaces are not that hard, but the curves are tricky and you will waste a few feet. Just takes time and patience. Plus you need some for the inevitable repairs from stones and road crap.
