Has anyone tried this kit for the oem shocks? The company claims that corner balancing and ride height adjustments are easy with these.

Gen 3 Adjustable Coil Over Kit

If it works it may be a cheap way to lower to precisely where you want.

I have them on my car and love them. They are not a substitute for Motons or something similiar, but a good in between solution to lowering your car and increasing performance.

Car looks great ..... but I'll bet you have to be careful coming and going in steep driveways.

The stance on that vert just totally completes the package. It looks truly menacing. One more question: does it bounce and jounce around on the freeway like some of the lowered cars I've seen, or is the ride more or less the same, just lower?

Yeah, the Vipair suspension kit is really nice. As a proud member of the "wheel *****" club:), I've already had two different sets of wheel/tire combo's on the car since I've installed the Vipair setup. The adjustability in the Vipair kit allowed me to always keep a short wheelgap, no matter the overall diameter of the tire.

The ride is firmer than stock, without a doubt. I wouldn't call it bouncy though. But, comparing to Eibachs/caps, its a better, firmer ride...but not as silky smooth as a set of Moton's would be. But, for $1000, it's a helluva lot cheaper!

Yeah, but compared to my past Vette's, this thing is still like driving a 4x4. Maybe its the shorter overhangs or something, but even at this height, I don't scrape hardly anything compared to my lowered Vette(which isn't even this low) The rear diffuser scrapes the most, and as long as you approach inclines at an angle, the nose doesn't scrape:D

With that said, speed bumps are my enemy:lmao:
