I currently have Roe Cats and the Corsa system and I want to change because it is too loud for me. Here is what I have narrowed it down to:

1. Keep Hi flow cats, put stock exhaust back on after cats.

2. Get stook cats, keep the Corsa system on after the cats.

3. Go back to all stock.

Any thoughts?

RT/10 - You want it to flow good, but if it's too loud... then maybe add some high flow cats and keep the stock mufflers. I don't think that would be too much of a problem for noise.

GTS - Then high flow cats and stock mufflers on the sides and remove the rear mufflers. Then, if for some crazy reason it is still too loud, you can add some mufflers to the rear, but you shouldn't have to do that.

high flows, but keep working on finding a better muffler to keep the sound down. maybe add another muffler in the sill in place of the resonator thats there now i assume

I have all the stock exhaust that is in great condition. Use that with the Hi-flows? This sounds like maybe the best idea. Except I would have to replace those ugly exhuast tips!!!:)

I have all stock (cats and resonators) but with rear muffler delete. Not loud by any means at all but has a nice rumble. When I need to replace the cats I'm going with high flow and I don't expect it to be a whole lot louder.

You might be able to get a buck or two from the Corsa.

when my car had stock headers, HF cats, stock resonator and an x-pipe muffler delete it sounded pretty good compared to all stock.

the random tech x-pipe muffler delete from jonB has a nice set of tips on it too

I have B&B headers, stock cats opened to 3 in. pipe, and Borla Catbacks. This has a great sound and is not very loud. Several have told me it is the best they have heard.

Just for a data point I have stock cats with the inlet and outlet enlarged to 3" and then two straight through 3" mufflers on each side and my car is crazy loud with headers. I think this says that the noise difference between the stock and Roe cats is probably small so I vote for keeping the Roe cats and adding the stock cat-back on. UNLESS the welding work installing the Roe cats is messy and you could completely clean things up with the complete stock system in which case I vote for totally stock (then of course you might have hotter side sills).
