Naturally, the only appropriate transportation for the bride and groom was our beloved RT/10. In case there were any doubts as to the quality of this woman, note the last picture where she is taking care of a spot on the windshield while in a wedding dress. :)

Your job is to be fun to live with not a pain in the ass and a downer.

Come on Sam, from Vegas, chime in here.
Any young guy with a Viper who has a job can wait a few more years to tie the knot.
Why do you think that it is called "tying the knot"?

Yeah, but it'll be a minvan with "Sport" decals on the side, like the one at AutoZone this a-noon.
Got to please the little lady.

Up next, selling the car for a minivan.

RIP

I got married on May 1 but was unable to use the Viper due to the risk of a summer storm. :( It seems that everyone at work has been teasing me about the liklihood of me selling the Viper. Bottom line .... not gonna happen. :headbang:

LOL! Does the term 'tying the knot' come from the analogy of preparing the noose you are about to hang yourself with? You guys are evil!

I'd say 70% of the fights we have are about whos turn it is to drive the Viper. This is a woman who knows how to appreciate a good vehicle, hence why I married her. :)

She drives it regularly and has kicked in for half of the payments since we got the car a year ago- sounds like some pretty ******** "pretending" to me!

Women always start out pretending to like what we like.
Report back in 18 months.
I couldn't have said it better myself. Unfortunately that is how women are. They are one way until they have you then the "transformation" starts. :( Slowly but surely they **** out your lively hood which goes as deep as your bank account. But hey congrats on yout marriage!!! :2tu:

That's exactly what I was thinking, but since I rarely date women for more than 60 days I don't have much "hands on" (pun intended) experience with these legally binding contract situations like the "M" word. I figured buying her a Viper would put some guilt in her and fend off her "request" to trade his Viper for a minivan when the transformation begins.

My wife couldn't care less about my viper. She has no desire to ride in it. But then again, she doesn't care how many sportscars I buy.

Phew! I see there are some strong opinions on this topic. Have you ever heard this one:

Women marry men thinking they CAN change them.
Men marry women hoping they NEVER change.

true?
