Tire build date question?

You try for a build date that's less than a year from the time of purchase, can easily be found if you're buying a popular tire at a place that goes through inventory quickly. I wouldn't buy a "new" tire that's more than 2 years old but I'm sure there are some tire ****'s out there who'll comment that 2 years is unacceptable
. There have been case reported on these boards where someone was shipped tires that were 4-5 years old.....so its wise that you consider it.

I don't mind anybody calling a 2 year old tire that's never been used and has been stored correctly...'New'...just don't charge me full price for it.
