I want to put 19" Forgeline VR1s on my car, but I have a question about tire sizes. The factory front tires of my GenII are about 5/16" smaller in diameter than the rears. Should I try to maintain the same ratio or is the front to back tire height simply a matter of taste?

I am considering 295/35s for the front and 345/30s for the rear. According to the specs, these tires will be about 1 inch bigger than stock, but they are both the exact same size. (27.1 inches tall) I am going with the bigger tires because I want to fill up the wheel wells without lowering the car.

Your're going to raise your ride height and the cars center of gravity a half inch with that setup. If you must go to larger wheels go with a lower aspect ratio tire. You should try to maintain the stock diameters front and rear.
