I know we are all waiting for the day when they just send them to us free, but in the meantime 335/30/18 rears are now

$157.00 each

at tirerack. Looked for a previous post on this so hope I'm not repeating repeating repeating myself.

Would the build dates on these tires cause their prices to drop? I mean the older they are the cheaper they get so they can get rid of them. Just curious because I would buy a set but I don't really need them now and would just store them again until spring when I can burn up my current set

Which tires are you guys referring to?
What Brand, etc.?

Michelin Pilot Sports which are the OE's on the Vipers with 18" wheels. $157 for the rears (335/30-18), that's a great price!

Warren.

'cause we have 17" rims Roadkill, if I had 18" rims the 17" would be given away. Buy whatever I don't have is a good bet. Something to do with Murphy's law or some crap like that........:)

I know why.... They have to hire smaller people to make smaller tires .... Bigger wages for smaller people

I just posted by OEM wheels and tires from my 2000 GTS in classifieds. $3000 buys 4 nice rims, 4 good tires and cheap tire availibility in the future!!

PLEASE buy my wheels! In just about 3 sets of buying 17" rubber you could have these "free"!

17" 4 tires x 350 each X 3 sets = 4200
18" 4 tires x 160 each x 2 sets (+ one set mounted) = $1280

With the savings you get free wheels, better handling, less expensive tires.

Try this site for 17" Pilot Sports. Just ordered a set of four for $1110 plus $55 shipping and handling. Total $1166, not a bad price and they are Michelin Pilot Sports indeed.

Here is the Link to the site.
