Tires MXX or Pilot Sport

I can get 4 new MXX tires for $1800 or I can go with the pilot sports 379.00ea for rears & 307.00ea for fronts. I know that $1800 is a lot for a set of tires, but they aren't made anymore so the value of them (at least to me) has increased.

Ruber and tires age wether they are used or not.A brand new 10 year old tire will be a lot harder than it was when it was new.I'd go with pilot sports or if you're not worring about kicking up dirt and stones then one of the Asian soft compound street tires. Bruce

Unless your conviced that a 96 has to have MXX3 tires (match original). Go with the Pilots. Newer is better.
