Speaking of me getting passed here is my buddy Angel passing me in a C6 Z06 last night. I overly slowed for him so he could pass me so I played the rest of the time playing catch up. (Or not falling behind as much) :)

Here's the Video:
93 Viper VS C6 Z06 - Video

Like I said Angel can drive and having a C6 Z06 with 475RWHP doesn't hurt either. :)

I like this C6 Z06 incounter I had a bit better:

All the videos are so f'ing awesome! You produce some great videos with the music and all. I love watching them!!!
What mods do you have on your '93? How many driving courses (classes) have you attended. I would love to try that sometime... might have to drive up to visit my sister in Kansas City. Got a family reunion in June coming up in Wichita... where are you located?

Thanks!

My mods are Kumho tires, Tom's big brake kit, EBC yellows, 6 point harness, K&Ns, roe facia kit, and a bit of exhaust work.

I've been to around 15 or so track days. There increadibly fun :2tu:

I am located in Olathe, KS but the track is HPT:

Have you driven a Gen 2 or 3 on a road course yet? My 2000 was track prepped with Hoosiers Stoptech big brake etc., etc. really fast. I drove a few Gen 1's and they are really "a$$ happy" the suspension geometry made the rear kick out. Have you run Viperdays yet?

I love your videos of Heartland Park Topeka. I have been there with my classic cars and went down the 1/4 mile track. 68 Charger and 73 Cuda. I have a 93 viper and the last time I was there they were fixing the track. How do you find out when you can go? Do you go with the club or do they have special days. What do they charge and how long do you get to use the track. Do I need to take a second Mortgage out to run. My viper is stock, did you do a lot of mods? I know a lot of questions but would like to be there with you sometime, your an excellent driver.

No never driven a GEN II or III on a roadcourse. Maybe some one will lend me one. :D

I have driven a GEN III on an autocross course and it was amazing how much faster it was than my car. So much easier to drive. But not as fun a a GEN I. :headbang:

Thanks. :2tu:

I run the HPT touring Club. Cheap and fun for a $20 annual membership and $60 per day. You get about 40-60 min of track time for that. (About three to four sessions) I also run track days up at MAM. And have run a Viper day. But you can't beat touring club for the $$

Having fun is what it's all about. Here in Cali I have 6 road courses within a 5 hour drive, including WSIR and Buttonwillow within 1.5 hours. I try to get the drag racers more interested because once you road race you're hooked :D
